L.C. Designs is managed by Lauren Corbin. Lauren is a senior at the College of Charleston, majoring in Communication and minoring in Theatre. Lauren's passion for writing and editing for print media led her to expand her interest in layout creation and design for print and webpages. Both areas are important in the field of print media, especially magazines, which is Lauren's main field of interest. The balance of society's want for the print medium and need for the electronic copy is important to Lauren, as is her new-found knowledge and skills in electronic publishing and design.
In addition to her educational goals and accomplishments, Lauren is also the Films Chair for the Cougar Activities Board, where she has utilized her Photoshop and InDesign skills. She is also a sales associate at Polo Ralph Lauren and volunteers regularly in community theatre, such as with The Flowertown Players of Summerville.
